Would you think this child has bipolar disorder based on these actions?
Q. She is in art class at school and the teacher gives the students an assignment to draw a picture using only their favorite color. This girl's favorite color is red. So she takes a small blade and slices the inside of her palm and presses her bloody hand to her heart. Based on that scenario would that be a symptom of bipolar disorder?

A. I would say no, ma inly because officially according to the DSM manual bi polar disorder cannot be diagnosed in a child, but that is just a loose guidance, I would say although her behavior is concerning it may be a case of a very imaginative child. Have you tried to talk it over with her and ask her why she choose to do her picture with that method? I think you should have a chat with her and try to get her view on what she did and then go from there, although I would certainly tell a doctor about the incident so that it can be kept in mind. The most important thing is to act with caution, you don't want to create a issue out of this and cause her to feel she is abnormal, stigma sticks and the effect on her self esteem and friendships… [cont.]

Q. Hi All, It's going to be a weird question but it is a true story about me: I am a separated guy since 2006, had a terrible relationship with a woman but was once in love, many years ago though. Today, I feel as if I have no heart. Based on my actions I am a normal guy, I am nice to people and do not harm anyone. However, inside, I feel I don't care about other people but myself. i mean it - I COULDN'T care less about anyone!!! It's as if I'm the worst person in the world based on my thoughts (again, not my actions). I live alone and do not want anyone in my life. A. I know how you feel. When my husband and I were having problems, I felt like I didn't have any feelings anymore. It was scary. I didn't care about anything...I literally felt dead inside. When I found out my husband was having an affair, I was devastated, and things got even worse, but we started counseling. As I worked through the depression and betrayal, I started to feel pain again. My thought was "At least I'm feeling something". As time went by, I was once again able to feel love, sympathy and empathy. Today I cried when I heard that my co-workers friend is pregnant, after years of trying to have a baby. Pre-Meditated sin...?
Q. I haven't found this question on here yet and thought that someone should ask about pre-meditated sin... When someone goes somewhere knowing they're going to commit a sin, but in their minds are thinking they'll ask for forgivness when it's over... truly right in their hearts? (Based solely on your opinion and any references you wish) Does that mindset occur more than it used to? Have people forgotten that the Bible tells us once we're saved we become Holy? Doesn't that mean that if we choose to ask God for help then we never have to commit another sin and are capable of that through Christ? Your thoughts please. God Bless.

A. I have got to think that a premeditated sin is far worse than a spur of the moment one. Though they say all sins are equal. Imagine knowing you were going to go to a store pull a gun on someone and take money from them. Anyone but a complete moron, would know that this was wrong to do, you also know your taking a big chance on someone getting hurt or killed. Say the owner pulls a gun on you, does this person allow themselves to be shot or shoot first. Either way its their fault, they brought it on themselves. Noe consider someone driving along and a pedestrian walking out in front of them and they hit them, terrified and horrified they take off. Both are terrible sins, but one is super charged with emotions that they were unprepared for.… [cont.]
